Coach Accreditation
Play Rugby USA Head Quarters in NYC offers an online Coach Accreditation course run through two 3 hour live online web-casts with our certified trainers. This enables coaches nation-wide the opportunity to train as a Play Rugby Accredited coach. This product is offered to but not by Play Rugby USA licensed Affiliates (see Coach Orientations for local services). The cost of the course is as follows:

Coach Orientations
Play Rugby USA Head Quarters in NYC, in addition to licensed Affiliates around the country offer orientation courses for parents, teachers and volunteers to learn how to effectively coach rugby. The courses are great fun, largely practical and give everyone an overview of rugby, its principles and effective coaching techniques.

Coach Mentoring (we coach you!)
To create sustainable rugby programs it is important that new coaches are developed to coach new players. Therefore, we strongly encourage our partners to provide one of their teachers, parents or after school volunteers/staff as the coach. To help you with this task, you may book a Play Rugby USA Accredited coach to work alongside your own coach to help them grow the program together.
